If you have been wanting to get into the renewable energy industry and begin a career that will take you into retirement, look no further.Duties and Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics and instructionsIdentify electrical, environmental and safety hazards associated with the installations and identify methods and locations for laying out, orienting, and mounting modules or arrays to ensure efficient installation, electrical configuration, or system maintenanceAssist with site preparation and clean up, complete installation reports and paperworkMaintain a clean and organized work siteMaintain inventory of equipment for each installationComplete full inventory for each installation jobPre-assemble job components in warehouseAttend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety as directedResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Perform other duties as assigned.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.Requirements:Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with 2-5 years of experience in all aspects of PV installationExperience with the safe use of manual and power tools, consistently following all safety rules and requirements at all timesStrong interest in renewable energy and supporting our company's high-quality standardsConduit bending skillsPass a pre-employment drug screenClean driving record and a valid state driver's license, reliable transportationAttention to detail of work quality standards, safety procedures, and work environmentComfort working at heights and on rooftops with proper safety apparatusGood communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environmentOSHA 10-Hour Construction CertificateAuthorized to work in the United States.Physical Requirements: Must be able to:Work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, ladders, roofs, etc.Climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and work on feet for extended periods of timeLift or carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.Physically access all areas of the office and work environment with or without a reasonable accommodation.Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external clients and contacts.Ability for prolonged periods of time to sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.Work indoors and outdoors, be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, heat, cold, noise, dust, fragrance aromas.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
