Job Summary The University of Mississippi seeks a Program Manager to supportthe university's commitment to continual improvement andaccreditation responsibilities. The Program Manager will helpadvance a comprehensive, sustainable approach to assessment byworking with faculty, staff, and administrators to developmeaningful outcomes and measures of success, collect and interpretassessment results, and use those results to inform improvements inteaching, learning, programs, and services. The position willsupport the coordination of campus-wide assessment processes andreporting, provide guidance and training to those engaged inassessment, and help ensure that assessment information iseffectively documented, communicated, and used to supportinstitutional decision-making and accreditation. Job Description Coordinate institutional assessment timelines, communications,submissions, and follow-up across academic and administrativeunits. Provide consultation and technical assistance to assessmentreport writers, liaisons, faculty, staff, and administratorsregarding assessment processes, documentation, reportingexpectations, and best practices. Assist academic and administrative units in developingmeaningful outcomes, measures of success, assessment plans, andstrategies for using assessment results to support continuousimprovement. Develop and deliver workshops, office hours, and othereducational programming related to assessment, planning, assessmentbest practices, and assessment-management software. Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and effective useof the university’s assessment and planning system; develop userguidance, templates, and process documentation. Collect, organize, review, and summarize assessment/planningdata and reports; assist with the preparation of institutionalassessment/planning reports and other required submissions. Analyze assessment results and other relevant data to identifytrends, support interpretation, and help stakeholders use findingsto inform improvement. Support program review, accreditation, and institutionaleffectiveness activities through evidence collection,documentation, deadline tracking, and preparation of statusreports. Serve as a resource to faculty, administrators, and staff onassessment and accreditation policies, procedures, and bestpractices. Participate in the juried review of student work and otherspecial projects designed to evaluate and improve student learningand/or university services. Contribute to the university’s decennial reaccreditationactivities, including data collection, evidence development, reportpreparation, and other assigned projects. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited four-year college oruniversity in a related field. Experience with assessment, institutional effectiveness,accreditation, or strategic planning, or program review in highereducation. Teaching and/or tutoring experience.
